Let me ask you something…. Did you start this new year by making resolutions? With the start of each new year, around one in three Americans resolve to better themselves in some way. A much smaller percentage of people actually make good on those resolutions. Maybe you resolved to lose weight, eat better, or exercise more. By the time you’re reading this, you’ve probably already failed at your resolutions. What do I mean by that? I mean that you failed because you were destined to fail. You’re wasting your time by making New Years resolutions, because they aren’t a successful mechanism for change. They’re unspecific, they’re unrealistic, and they imply that change occurs only within a finite period of time. And here’s the worst part! After a while, failing at your resolutions again and again will make you lose faith in your ability to change. If you’ve resolved every year for the past three years to be healthier and failed, what makes you think you’ll be different this year? Don’t be discouraged. Now that you’ve failed, I’m here to help you win! True change; real, lasting change isn’t wrapped up inside of a resolution.  They decide how they want to be, and work towards that goal!
