God Wants You to Be a Prayer Warrior!

God Wants You to Be a Prayer Warrior!

The mission of 1onONE has always been to bring you the one thing, the one idea, the one strategy that can take your life from ordinary to extraordinary. And today, I want to share with you one of the most important things you need to take your life out of the ordinary — faith. Faith in an Almighty Father Who can do exceedingly more in your life than you can do on your own or ever imagine coming to pass in your life. If the extraordinary life is something you desire, you can’t just sit there and do nothing, waiting on God to move in your life. It starts with faith, and it’s grounded in a powerful prayer life. Pastor Teresa “Lady T” Goggins has written a powerful book, called Trained to Conquer. It’s a training manual to getting spiritually fit as a worshipping warrior! You see, prayer is our direct line to God. Trained to Conquer is going to take you on a six-week boot camp to making your prayers more effective and see the powerful force of prayer manifest in your life. All of hell would like to see you take your dreams to the grave, but faith says no! The enemy is always at work, trying to divert your destiny. God has given you the ability to fight evil and overcome it through the most powerful weapon possible: prayer. It’s time to ignite a passion for prayer in your life. As you go through the Trained to Conquer six-week boot camp, you’re going to unlock the supernatural breakthrough power that exists in a spiritually-fit prayer life. No...
Are You Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired?

Are You Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired?

There are times in everyone’s life where stress and pressure seem to be overwhelming. When you’re hard pressed on every side, between work, bills, health issues, and relationship problems, it may seem like there’s no way to improve your circumstances. All of this stress leaves us feeling sick and tired! I’ve had the honor to host one of my dearest friends in ministry, Dr. Derek Grier, in the 1onONE studio. Today, I want to share with you one of his teaching sermons that has profoundly impacted my life, and I know it will touch yours, too. This life changing message will reach you when you’re at the end of your rope and you just can’t take it anymore. When you’re at that critical point, Dr. Grier will show you how to LET GO and grab on to God’s lifeline! So many of us feel the pressure to work our circumstances out on our own. The idea of letting go can seem like a terrifying choice. And then, when our ego gets in the way, we often can’t or won’t let go and let God be God. All of this leaves us feeling anxious, fearful, stressed, and can even make us physically sick. But the good news is it’s not our job to figure it out! It’s our job to trust God, and humble ourselves before Him. When we give our cares to Him, we get to watch Him work it out! Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you....
Are You Surrounded By Fools?

Are You Surrounded By Fools?

As we go through our everyday lives, we’re bound to encounter foolish behavior. It can be as minor as someone cutting you off in traffic. Maybe it’s a coworker who makes more work for everyone with their foolish choices. Perhaps, even, there’s foolishness happening in your relationships. Do you know how to work through those difficult situations? My dear friend, Dr. Derek Grier, deals with this issue head on in his sermon teaching, “How to Live with a Fool.” Dr. Grier is the founding pastor of Grace Church in Dumfries, Virginia, and has spoken into my life in supernatural ways. He is making a difference both in his church and throughout the world, reaching 2.5 billion people with his Bible-based ministry, which is committed to doing God’s work and sharing the message of Christ. Dr. Grier joined me recently for a special spotlight episode of 1onONE to tackle the issue of what God says about dealing with difficult, foolish people. This message is so important because, like it or not, many of us are in some sort of relationship-related struggle caused by foolishness. We just don’t know how to work things out on our own. We all end up in tough spots we don’t know how to navigate, spots where it isn’t always clear if we should stay or go, submit or rise up. A fool is simply someone who won’t listen to someone else because fools think they know everything! Does this sound like anyone you know? All of us can fall into foolish behavior when we don’t listen to God and His Word, or when we speak...
