Walking In Grace

Share on Facebook Share 1 Share on TwitterTweet Share on LinkedIn Share 0 Send email Mail   “The most important thing is this: To be able, at any moment, to sacrifice what we are for what we could become.” Wow! This powerful quote from Charles Dubois impacted me so much when I read it. Doesn’t it just epitomize what Christian living is all about? When we accept Christ as our Savior, we are saved by grace. This has given us access to miracles operating in our life, to see the supernatural power of God move, and to walk in His divine ability to heal and restore whatever is broken in our lives. Anyone in Christ is a new creature in every way. We are transformed! “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV) God’s gift of grace, given to us through Jesus’ death on the cross, frees us from the toil and struggle of the Old Covenant laws. There’s nothing we did or can do to earn God’s grace; it is a gift of love. All we have to do is receive it by faith! You have to be ready and willing to sacrifice what you are or how you’re living now to walk out God’s steps for your life. If you just step out in faith, you can completely trust that God’s grace will see you through any circumstance. God is love, and Jesus was the Father’s love in human form. His...

Declaring Biblical Wealth

Share on Facebook Share 0 Share on TwitterTweet Share on LinkedIn Share 0 Send email Mail God has opened my eyes and given me profound revelation in an area of my life and I just have to share it with you! What I’ve learned has the potential to greatly impact your life for the better, so listen closely. Now, don’t get nervous when I tell you the topic–get excited! It’s time to talk about finances. And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18 All too often, I receive phone calls and letters from folks in real financial desperation. Their messages are heartbreakingly common: “I’m just not making ends meet! My debts and bills are piling up and my income is trickling in–it’s destroying my life!” I know that when most of us want to be able to hang on to a little more money in our bank accounts, we start by trimming our spending and tightening our budgets. Still, cutting costs only goes so far! God did not create His people, you and me, to suffer. He created us to walk in power and authority, and to have dominion over our lives. Despite the amazing destiny God has in His heart for us, we convince ourselves that we are powerless to overcome and we settle for a version of “reality” full of suffering. However, when we refuse to give negative thoughts a foothold in our minds, surprising things happen!...

Take back your life!

Take back your life!

Share on Facebook Share 1 Share on TwitterTweet Share on LinkedIn Share 0 Send email Mail I don’t know about you, but there are seasons in my life where I feel like there are not enough hours in the day to get everything done. It’s becoming pretty clear to me that the pace of life is not getting any slower, and I know that I’m not the only one who has to deal with elevated levels of stress. We’ve all said at one point or another that we wish there were just one (or ten) more hours in our day so that we can do what’s needed and enjoy some down time with those we love. But unfortunately, we can’t slow time down or add a single second to the day. Have you ever had days like this? You forget to set your alarm and then you sleep in, rush through getting ready, skip breakfast, get stuck in traffic, and end up five minutes late to work…To be able to bring change to this area of our life, let’s start with what we know we can affect, and that’s our ability to manage our time. When time is mishandled, we’re bound to incur stress. Life shouldn’t be about bouncing and ricocheting from one busy task to the next.  How amazing would it be, to be able to take a moment every now and then to simply decompress and relax and take a deep breath. “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” –...

Developing Your Spirit Man – Enriching Your Relationship with God

Share on Facebook Share 3 Share on TwitterTweet Share on LinkedIn Share 0 Send email Mail I trust that the Master has lifted you this week and you are now ready to JUMPSTART your journey towards developing the new you! Last week, I introduced you to this concept of complete healing and restoration by focusing on the total composition of man – spirit, soul and body. Well this week, we are going to start off by hitting the topic of the spirit head on! This part of the composition of who you are is the most vital aspect, and the first place you should start when working to create the EXTRAORDINARY LIFE! So, if you’re like most of us, you’re wondering, “Where do I start…what is my first step in developing my spirit man?” The first step is understanding that you are in fact a spirit being! Genesis chapter 2:7 says… “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Now, this verse as well reflects the triune or three in one nature of man. Notice the three elements once again. It says that He formed the dust of the ground. This is the natural element of man – his body. And it says that man became a living soul. He became self-aware with his own thinking, feeling, and choosing. But, we cannot overlook the middle portion. Look at it again… and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. The word “breath” in the original language also means spirit. Now...

Become All That God Has Destined You To Be

Share on Facebook Share 1 Share on TwitterTweet Share on LinkedIn Share 0 Send email Mail I am blessed to have the opportunity each and every week to bring powerhouse guests to you through my television program! I believe 1onONE is a divinely inspired platform God has given me to empower and strengthen the Body of Christ to become all that God has destined us to be. I also believe the broadcast is a vessel to get God-inspired principles to the masses, and reach the teenager, the CEO and everyone in between. Why do I believe this is so important? Because, I know with all of my heart that God does not want any of us living short of who we are called to be or having all that we are supposed to have. That is what I call the extraordinary life. Anyone can live ordinary these days…living in financial lack, having health problems or not having peace in your soul is ordinary. But, if you are reading this post, that is NOT the life God has for you. Trust me, I know what it’s like to live ORDINARY; experiencing what everyone else is going through. But, one day I grew beyond frustrated, being sick, not having God’s best, struggling each and every day, and questioning what my purpose in life was. It was in this dark season that I experienced what can only be described as a God moment. I began to realize that no matter how much I exercised, no matter how much I prayed, how much money I made, or how much I tried to not get...
